Yercaud is a hill station in Salem District, in Tamil Nadu, India. It situated in the Shevaroys range of hills in the Eastern Ghats; the Yercaud hill territory is known as the Shevaroy Hills. It is arranged at a distance of 1515 meters (4970 ft) above the ocean level. Coffee and citrus fruit, most oranges are grown here and bananas, pears, and jackfruit are also grown in plenty amount.
