Vizag is the famous name of the port town, Visakhapatnam. Situated in the south-eastern coastline of India, Vizag is one of the biggest cities in Andhra Pradesh. The city Visakhapatnam gets its name from the Hindu God of valour, Visakha. The city is found exquisitely among the hills of the Western Ghats with its eastern side facing towards the Bay of Bengal. The city has also called as City of Destiny and Goa of the East Coast. Vizag has arisen as a heaven for tourist. Vizag has the resources of curiosity and captivates, which amuses tourist from an extensive variety of interests.

  • By Air: City has own airport, which is recently converted as International. The airport is well connected with all major cities of India and also Dubai and Singapore.  The airport is only a distance of 16 km.
  • By Rail: The railway station of Visakhapatnam is running from 1894 to till the date. The station is well connected to the major cities of India. 
  • By Road: Visakhapatnam is on the NH5 which is also a portion of the Golden tetragon. The city has a vast road network. All kind of transportation service (buses, cabs or taxis, etc…)  are available for hire from all the cities of the state and major cities of India.
