Shree Siddhivinayak

The Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Mandir is a Hindu sanctuary devoted to Lord Shri Ganesh. It is situated in Prabhadevi, Mumbai, Maharashtra. It was initially worked by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil on 19 November 1801. It is perhaps the most extravagant sanctuary in India.

The sanctuary has a little mandap with the holy place for Siddhi Vinayak (“Ganesha who gives your desire”). The wooden ways to the sanctum are cut with pictures of the Ashtavinayak (the eight indications of Ganesha in Maharashtra). The internal top of the sanctum is plated with gold, and the focal statue is of Ganesha. On the outskirts, there is a Hanuman sanctuary too.
