Telangana is a 28th newly born state of India in 2014 placed on the center-south stretch of the Indian peninsula on the high Deccan Plateau. The name of the Telangana state began from the word Trilinga Desa attributable to the three old sanctuaries of Hindu Lord Shiva at Kaleshwaram, Srisailam, and Draksharamam.
