Kailash and Kotumsar Cave isn’t just a special cavern, but at the same time is the second-longest collapse the entire world. The cavern found in 1993 stretches to a region of 100m.

Features – The uniqueness of the cavern is that it can’t be gotten to past a specific point because of absence of oxygen stream inside the profound cavern. This two-kilometer-profound cavern looks amazingly enormous in the midst of the thick woods. Need to get some good times? Applaud inside the cavern and you will hear back melodic sounds vibrating from the empty dividers. When you are finished investigating the cavern, visit the neighboring Kanger National park too.

Attractions: Significant Ecological importance, The enormous vertical fissure formed in the wall of the hill acts as an entry point of the cave. The main tunnel of the cave is 200 meters long with many lateral and downward passes.

Nearby places: Teerathgarh Falls, Kanger Dhara, Kailash Cave, and the Kanger valley national park.

How to Reach

  • By Air: The closest air terminal is the Visakhapatnam air terminal found 300 km away from the Cave. The best alternative to reach there is from the city of Jagdalpur by means of street.
  • By Rail: The closest railroad station is Jagdalpur Railway Station situated in the Bastar locale itself.  
  • By Road: The Cave is found 40 km away from Jagdalpur and has incredible availability through streets. The Caves are all around associated with close-by urban areas of Bastar district. One can reach there by private vehicles just as open vehicles, for example, transports or taxis.
