Loaded with dazzling architectural wonders, Kadapa is a standout amongst other spots to see in Andhra Pradesh. Circumscribed on the three sides by the Nallamala and Palakonda hills, Kadapa is besides called ‘Entrance’ city to Tirumala. Kadapa was led by various kingdoms throughout the years and therefore it has left this place with a rich cultural impact. It is presumed that one of the seven Kandas of the Ramayana, Kishkindha Kanda may have occurred in Vontimitta, which is located at a distance of only 20 Kms from the Kadapa. Nowadays, it is a crucial tourist spot of Seemandhra.

How to Reach

  • By Air: The city has its own airport which is only 8 km away from the main city. The airport receives only flights from Hyderabad and Tirupati.
  • By Rail: City also has own railway station which is well connected with major cities of India via trains.
  • By Road: Kadapa has good road connectivity to major cities of the State. State road transportation provides bus services to the various destination of the Kadapa and other cities across South India and rental vehicles are also available to reach here.
